Krishna Lee and Frank Nitty have been collaborating for over 14 years, producing underground events across the Bay Area under the name Womp. In 2022, they fused their production styles to launch Womp-Life—a project defined by their signature sound: melodic progressions layered with emotional depth and rhythmic tension.

By early 2023, Womp-Life had released three tracks on German labels Redux Deep, 7th Cloud, and Trip & Emotions, earning early acclaim and positioning the duo as rising voices in the global electronic scene. Later that year, they dropped their debut EP Galaxy Exploration on Geomagnetic Records—a four-track journey through cinematic synths and immersive atmospheres that solidified their reputation for genre-blending innovation.

In 2024, Womp-Life expanded their catalog with the EP Journey to the Light and their first full-length LP Enchantment, an eight-track release showcasing their evolving sound: a fusion of techno, breaks, and melodic storytelling. Their music has appeared in multiple compilations and continues to resonate across dance floors and headphones alike.

In 2025, Womp-Life broke down genre barriers by producing what they call West Coast Melodic Dance Music—a hybrid style that blends techno, house, breakbeat, and drum & bass with emotional clarity and underground energy. This new direction reflects their commitment to pushing sonic boundaries while staying rooted in the communal spirit of the Bay Area.
